Galleries and image generation are available on select plans. Contact your Merciv representative if you don’t see the New Gallery option.
Create a gallery
Click New at the top of the app and choose New Gallery. Merciv creates an “Untitled Gallery” and opens it. If you have a project open, the gallery is created inside that project. Rename the gallery by clicking its name on the page; a “Saved” indicator confirms the update. You can also find galleries later with the Galleries filter on Home and in Recents.Generate images
Describe your image
Type a prompt in the composer at the bottom of the gallery (“Describe your image…”) and press Enter or the send arrow.
Optionally shape the output
Next to the composer, you can attach reference images, pick colors, choose a style, and adjust settings such as image size. Once you’ve set parameters, Save and Clear buttons appear so you can store them as a reusable template.
Edit images
The gallery header has a Create / Edit toggle. Switch to Edit to refine an existing image instead of generating a new one:- Select the image you want to edit. It opens on a mask canvas; in galleries with multiple images, use the thumbnail sidebar or arrow keys to switch between them.
- Paint over the region you want to change using the erase and restore brushes. Adjust the brush size as needed, and use Cmd/Ctrl+Z to undo.
- Describe the change in the composer (“Describe the changes you want to make…”) and submit. Merciv regenerates only the masked region, leaving the rest of the image untouched.
Manage galleries
From the Home and Recents lists, galleries support Rename, Move to project, and Delete. Galleries created inside a project stay organized within that project — see Projects. Galleries don’t have sharing controls; a gallery is accessible to its creator. If you open a gallery you don’t have access to, you’ll see “You don’t have access to this gallery” and be returned home.Related pages
